We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on Heather Denny, a remarkable participant in our Supported Employment Program and our very first member of the Self-Employment Program. Heather’s journey is a true testament to creativity, determination, and the power of community support.

Heather joined the Jersey Cape family in spring 2025 through our Supported Employment Program, where we proudly placed her at Cape May Stage, a beloved independent theater and arts staple in our community. There, she gained valuable experience in a professional setting, building skills and confidence that would serve her well in her next adventure.
By fall 2025, Heather took the exciting leap into our Self-Employment Program. In just one month, she learned the art of jewelry-making, quickly establishing herself as a self-taught jewelry artist right here in Wildwood, New Jersey. Her unique style combines current jewelry trends with her own creative flair, offering custom pieces that reflect the personality and taste of each patron.

A recent high school graduate, Heather hit the ground running, building herself as a local creative force. Whether you’re looking for trendy earrings or a custom piece made just for you, Heather’s work is thoughtful, vibrant, and entirely one-of-a-kind.
